Hello Club began as a side hustle about 9 years ago in Wellington, New Zealand, when our founders, Adam and Liat, were working full-time jobs during the day.
Both Adam and Liat were active members of their local squash club. They experienced firsthand the frustrations of manual and inefficient booking processes.
In addition, as tech consultants in the committee, they felt the absence of an automated system for tasks like membership registration, renewals, and court bookings. The club's manual processes not only compromised the member experience but also caused the admin team to spend countless hours managing spreadsheets, emails, and phone calls. This administrative burden was a constant source of frustration for everyone involved and was common across many other clubs.
With their development skills, Adam and Liat believed they could create a better solution—one that would simplify club administrator's lives and enhance the member experience.
